The state Capitol is under going a rebeautification process. Not sure when the project will be done. Had the privilege of delivering part of the supplies they need to get the job done. I believe it will be even more beautiful once finished.
Rebuilding or making the place better looking.. millions of dollars and homeless people all around... Wouldn't creating jobs for them be better than making a building look better... This governor is not helping anyone except for her/his friends... In the same way the last one did..
The Capitol is under major construction until 2025.

Government buildings we're beautiful and majestic. Historian facts at every corner. Great for the whole family. I plan to go back when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. You can feel the pride in Salem with its stunning Capital and golden Lumber Jack❣
The grounds at this capitol building are more beautiful than any grounds I've seen elsewhere! There's so much grass to relax on and gorgeous rows of trees lining the fields. At the center of it all is a unique water fountain. The very best time to visit the capitol is in the spring. The flowers are blooming and the trees are in full blosom. The inside of the capitol building is beautiful as well and fun to explore.
Definitively not the most beautiful, big and impressive capitol state building I have ever seen. The California one in Sacramento or the Utah one in Salt Lake City are way more beautiful. Still worth a visit if you are around. As of Jun 2021 they were under work some bad for pictures at this time. There are some play parking spots along both sides of the street if you go by car.
Interesting building with beautiful grounds surrounding area are well maintained
Enjoyed walking around the Capital. Nice to see the history of Oregon hasn't been torn down yet!
